Someone at the game tonight mentioned that HG is closed in Bloomington. I thought that maybe the franchise was going under or being bought out. However, it appears that HG is opening new stores in other locations and the store in Bloomington will be a Bauer-only store.

Interesting. I remember hearing something about this at the expo, but I totally forgot! It should be cool. With CCM/Reebok becoming one company, it's going to be a slugfest for our business!

I wonder if Bauer will honor the 9 free skate sharpenings I have left from buying skates at hockey giant... anyone? anyone? bueller?

Well yeah. I'm in full agreement. It was more a joke since I went there to get sharpenings and it had closed down. I've seen the concept for the new stores though and it looks cool so I'm all for it.
