How to figure out my sizes?

Are there any places I can go to figure out my sizes for all of the required equipment? What all do you guys recommend I buy as a total noob to this? I've played a lot of pond hockey but never anything with equipment more than a stick and skates. I have no idea what sizes I am for anything or where I can go this time of year to find that out
