Glove repalming

My sweetie has his favorite pair of gloves which (like all favorite gloves) are rendered nearly unusable by holes in the palm. I go back and forth on this -- it really does seem cheaper to just buy new ones. On the other hand, you have to break them in . . . and by that time, they're starting to get holes of their own. Anyone get gloves repalmed? I'm guessing people do it once to try, but don't end up making a habit of it.

Georges in St Paul - wonderful, inexpensive, fast turnaround, they can do just one glove/palm versus the pair if you'd like. I just had a pair completely re-done - excellent craftsmanship.

I 2nd George's in St Paul, Grand Ave. It cost me 60$ and was done in less than 2 weeks, I was given choice of tan or black palms.....they also will do leather if you request.

George's in St Paul again. At least take the time to drive on a sunny Saturday between 11 and 2 and go to the little shop and look at the pictures on the wall and smell the leather and sit on the wooden bench in the front window and then go get a bite to eat at the Tavern on Grand (right down the street to the left of George's) or at Dixie's (next block over to the west, across the street). Bring the gloves and let the guys look at them - they'll laugh and say "no problem." You'll have a great time either way.
