JMS Hockey

I have wanted to play hockey since I was 7 years old; only problem was my family could never afford to put me in the game. I grew up on roller blades with and a wooden Mighty Ducks hockey stick. I was determined one day to be a bash-brother... I've played just about every sport but I swam varsity all through high school. I tried multiple times to find a way to play hockey but every time it just proved to be too expensive. As a super-senior in college I finally got the chance to learn how to play hockey. I had the wonderful opportunity to be coached and trained by Dave Supple at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Thanks to a dear friend (shout out at Bobby Erickson), I was able to come up with the necessary equipment. I've always had a stick and skates, but as for everything else I was at a loss and Bobby really helped me out. I took a co-ed hockey class with Supple and he taught me the fundamentals. I shocked him a few times with my random/lucky shots on goal. I have learned a lot and have played in pick-up and intramural games on campus. I look forward to continuing my hockey career....it's been a long time coming!!
