Tell us about you and JMS: I have been playing organized hockey for just over 10 years. A funny story on how I finally got started. I had been talking with my wife and friends for about 3-5 years prior about how I wanted to take AHA beginner school, but I was all talk. One Saturday morning in 2013 my wife went out garage saling. She came home with a full set of hockey gear that she found at one of the sales. I had no choice it was time to start my hockey journey. I went through beginners' school and had a blast. Then found JMS and the rest is history.
-Favorite sports team: Gopher hockey. I was a season ticket holder for quite a few years and was there with my brother when they won the championship in 2002.
-Last show you binge watched: For All Mankind. Highly recommend!
-Do you have a nickname? No nickname that I'm aware of, maybe Bergsie.
-Hobbies or sports you participated in beyond hockey: In the summer I row the boat with the Minneapolis Rowing Club, usually sculling in singles, doubles or quads. A great summer sport. I also enjoy backpacking and bicycling.
-Favorite food: Everything except for mushrooms.
-Favorite memory of JMS: The great friends I have made and all the fun on the ice I have had playing JMS.
