Are pickup games co-ed? How about leagues?

Hey all, I went to the Roseville All Level pickup game this past Sunday, and I had a blast. I was pretty sure I'd be the only woman on the ice, but it seemed some of the men were thrown off by me being there. It got me thinking, are these games co-ed, or are they men only? They aren't labelled, so I assumed I was allowed to sign up for them, but it's totally fine if I'm not allowed to play. I just want to know so that I can feel confident when showing up.

Hey Jackie - great question. All games and leagues are co-ed! We have women sprinkled throughout the metro at our games and leagues. Those guys were probably just worried you were going walk around them like they're standing still. :-)

Jackie… the lower level Apple Valley skate on Tiesdays usually has a couple of women playing every week. Come on out, but sign up early! That skate usually fills fast!

Jackie, If your level is 1-3, the SLP game on Friday night (lower level) typically has 2+ women on the roster.
