Covid related changes at St. Louis Park

Beginning Friday, January 21 visitors of the Rec Center will be required to wear a face covering while inside of the Rec Center; this ordinance will be in effect until February 22. Persons and places of public accommodation to which the ordinance DOES NOT apply include: -Participants in youth and adult sports are exempt from this emergency ordinance** **Skaters and Coaches (on the ice and on the bench) -Individuals actively eating or drinking -Children under the age of five (5) -Individuals unable to wear a face covering due to medical reasons, disabilities, or developmental reasons -Individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing or an individual who is speaking to someone who is deaf or hard of hearing and requires the mouth to be visible to communicate -Individuals who are unable to remove the face covering without assistance The ROC (outside components) are not falling under this ordinance at this time; ROC hallway and locker rooms are included.
