Last night someone stole a FEW HUNDRED dollars of cash from my buddy Joe's bag. He doesn't usually carry cash but has just collected some from friends as payback for some concert tickets he purchased. He had carefully tucked his wallet into his shoe and buried at the bottom of his bag but someone in the locker room last night clearly saw him do that and stole the money. If the person reading this has a conscience please send me a private message and if you return the money to me I'll get it to Joe and I won't share your name with anyone. Everyone that skated last night be vigilant with your valuables as it's likely the thief has done this before or will do it again. Sincerely, Ryan B

Ouch. Those locker rooms are not a place to keep cash or anything of value since they are located out of sight of the ice... much less being unattended. Anything of value would always be safer in your car in the trunk or somewhere else. If anything, bring your equipment bag to the bench. Maybe every session should have a valuables bag that can be kept at the benches. Although that could open up a bag of worms as well. If the thought is another skater from the session took it, that would be even more terrible. Would like to think we could trust each other.
