Faster game than hockey. Great training. Because it’s faster than hockey, the ice game “slows down” for you. Really makes you a better hockey player. Floorball is MORE POPULAR than hockey in Sweden and Finland and they produce ok hockey players

It’s a fun game! Obviously in Europe in filled stadiums it’s MUCH more exciting, but we play a fun 2 hour session. We are playing TONIGHT (Monday) and we play Thursdays too.

We are playing regularly. We will be in a one day tournament in Wisconsin on Saturday April 14th ($20 only to play). We have an “advanced” and “beginner” team going. WE NEED PLAYERS. We have sent two teams to this tournament for the last 7 years (at least one per division). We won the advanced last year and have won beginner a few times.
The league is probably not coming together this year. We will continue to push a league in the future. For now we continue “open” sessions a few days a week.

Weekdays (Monday and Thursday) are at NE Middle School. And Saturday is Windom Community Center in S Minneapolis.
We play all year and we have been playing for 10 years. Floorball will be in the Olympics soon. It will blow up here in the U.S. when it does. Already one of the fastest growing sports in the world. Just not here unfortunately. It’s a crazy fun game and excellent for off ice hockey skills.
