JMS Hockey

I captain the winter Black Ice C3 team and we lost a few skaters last offseason and are looking for a few new full-timers to join our squad. Our team is centered around a good locker room vibe and we don't have any room for BS tough guys (or gals) or players that are constantly in the box. It ruins the fun of the game and nobody likes sitting while they're position is serving a penalty. What we do like is guys that skate hard every shift and can play good, hard hockey, and leave it on the ice win or lose. After all, this is still rec league and we all have to go to work the next day. Plus, there's all kinds of time for rehashing the game over beers in the parking lot. Our team made it to the semifinals last year (our first year at C3, moving up from D1) and we are looking to build on that success. We plan on having several coached practices throughout the year but not so much that it's overbearing (once a month at most, probably a bit less).
