You don't need a JMS jersey, although they are available for purchase through the JMS website I think. Any regular old jersey will suffice. I just bought regular practice jerseys online. Also, it isn't 100% required to be black or white, just light or dark. That said, its a lot easier for your teammates if they are mostly white or mostly black.

That's why I asked. Mynjerseys inhave now are ok. One has black sleeves and sometimes I get confused fornthebdark team. Don't want it to be an issue. Thanks!

My understanding is that you get the JMS oriented jerseys once you play in a league. Don't think jerseys are in the store here. You should be fine with getting any dark\light. Watch out for lighter colors, on the dark end, though. Orange for example. I have been asked to change out of my AHA orange jersey before.

Grey is bad, orange too. Dark sleeves and/or shoulders on a light jersey or visa versa are not so great either.

Red or green doesn't work either. Dark blue is okay. Maybe we should switch to shirts and skins?

Co-ed shirts and skins? Hmmm.

I've seen HockeyFinder jerseys allowed many times. Those are green.

Straight from the help forum on what equipment to have:
Bring a white and a dark jersey. Do not bring yellow, grey or orange as they are neither "dark" nor white.
