hey Im new to JMS and also will be my first game ever in pads. I am registered as a level 2 skater, since ive signed up ive been doing a lot of skating and have gotten better. i feel like maybe i could be a mid level 3. should i get this changed or is it cool to just leave it because ive never played organized hockey, i just dont want to look like i down played my level to have an advantage. i figured i would be signing up in the intermediate level games any way. cant wait to hit the ice for the first time!

Hey Pete,
I wouldn't worry about it too much. The captains do a good job of getting people in the right level after their first game. Even if you are higher than your current level assignment, if you're playing an intermediate game it won't be a big deal and you'll still fit in fine.
See you on the ice soon!

It might take a few games to have the captains get your level upped on your account. If you're playing in intermediate games it's not a big deal. JMS was my first time playing with pads and with goalies too. it sure is fun, hope it is a blast for you as well.

Don't worry about your level. We all feel like Wayne Gretzky when we are skating.

I would just leave it for now. Come out to some of the lower level skates ( L1-3) and some Novice skates ( L1-2 ). We always love to have new people join us! If you are that much better than everyone else, the captains will adjust as necessary. Welcome to JMS!
