THANK YOU

Alan Greenberg
At 71 I have decided to give up playing hockey because of medical issues. ( not serious).
I have had a great run ( I have played for probably 60+ years).
I want to thank JMS and all the great folks I have met and played with/against over the years.
Thanks again and best wishes

Sorry Alan...that's a bummer. Make sure you stop by some Thursday night this summer. It's going to be strange not having that old Porsche in the parking lot!

Al,
It's been a pleasure getting to know you and playing with, and against you over the years - best to you and your family, 'eh!

Alan-
You can't leave me alone with these young pups.
Disapointing but understood. Will miss playing with you as well.
All the best and, as Jon suggested, stop in on a Thursday night.
It'd be great to see you.

Al,
You will be missed on Thursday nights. Hope to some day get after it as well as you do, and have that long of a career on the ice.
Feel better soon

C'mon Alan....you're at 197 games played...why not go for three more and make it an even 200?!

Al,
Sad to hear you're hanging them up. I only wish that I can get to your age and still play hockey. Not to mention playing as well as you did. Swing by sometime in the summer and say hi at St. Thomas!

Alan,
I will miss playing with you and marveling at your ability to keep the puck on your stick through traffic! I enjoyed playing with you on Thursday nights at STIA.
71 years old and playing the way you have is incredible and inspiring.
Enjoy your retirement!
