Miss Canada wore a hockey-themed costume at this year's Miss Universe competition, here's a picture:

It included a scoreboard that indicated that the score was 20-14 (for the year of the pageant presumably), which one of the commenters tried to suggest was actually the shots on goal. The author of the article that I've linked to says the scoreboard comes from the "worst beer league game ever played" so it would seem that her costume is really a tribute to us.

Scoreboard is more like its from the NHL all Star game. What a waste that debacle was! Not even remotely entertaining.
