First JMS Game

I signed up for my first JMS game on January 8th as a Goalie.
Just a couple of questions:
1.) can I wear whatever jersey I want?
2.) how much does it cost?
3.) is there a captain I need to talk to beforehand?
4.) is there anything special I need to do besides show up?

Have fun at your first JMS game. Wear a comfortable jersey - its better if its white or black, but the color really doesnt matter.
Dont forget that you'll basically be on the ice for at least ninety minutes straight with no breaks, so-
1) bring a water bottle - fill it up at home so you dont have to find a waterfountain at the last minute
2) pace yourself - even if youre in mid season form, the last fifteen minutes will be a stretch because either you are worn out, or the game slows down because everyone else is tired.
3) watch out during warmups. Expect to take one in the mask or shoulders. No one is doing it on purpose but it happens. I'd recommend taking a few shots early (the guys on the ice early usually know the drill and keep the first shots low) and then leaving the net open for the skaters to find their shots.
Have a great time - JMS is the best organized pickup hockey I have found locally.
