I really want to thank all the folks at the Roseville lower level skate last night who helped me after I got hurt. I very much appreciate all the care and concern. To my surprise, it turns out my ankle is broken, so I'll have to miss playing with you all for awhile. On the bright side, I feel more hopeful that a broken bone will heal so that I regain full function than I would be with torn ligaments or tendons. I look forward to skating with you all again, as soon as my ankle is ok.

Thanks guys. I just found out I won't need surgery, so that's a big relief. It sounds like I should (hopefully) be back on the ice in 2-3 months. I'll really be looking forward to skating with all of you again!
