JMS Hockey

Just curious, but the D division is the lowest level correct? In which case wouldn't a level 3 goalie suffice? I'm assuming you guys are beginnners?

If you have not played in the Walleye Chop before, here is a lesson. Even in the "D" level, teams will bring in all sorts of ringers. Unelss they have changed some sort of rules recently, the tourney is a frustrating one. Its good if you are just there to play hockey, but bad if you're bringing in a team that corresponds to the explanation of the level you want to play at. With that being said, I can see why a "D" level team would want to L5 ringer goalie. It makes sense on every level!

The lowest division is 'Novice'. The D division is second from the bottom but this is Blaine. Last year the 'Novice' division has teams that reflect AHA C3 -C1 level or solid/top JMS L4. The D division looks like AHA B3-B2 or top L4-L5 JMS. We have a mix of guys that can be mapped to L4-L6 JMS players and we probably are going to play against very good teams at this tournament.
