Anyone else interested in getting some more ice south of the river for the summer? I have some "connections" in the area and if there's enough support for what I'm thinking would be a all level skate, maybe we could help convince JMS to organize it. I was looking at Rosemount/Lakeville areas. What chya think?

That sounds like a great idea if we can get enough folks interested. Definitely let us know if you get some other folks interested in the idea.
Also, we have the Apple Valley intermediate league this summer which is a nice location for south metro skaters. Actually only two more days of the early bird pricing left. It's not pickup - there's a ref there, and we keep score, but it's overall a good time and makes for great post-game tailgating conversation.

I would like it if there was an option for Lakeville or Rosemount area. Lower level or All level for me though. Hey Brandon I got in the Apply Valley League too. Skater though :) Use those connection I am positive they would fill up.

I have a feeling it would work out regardless but I'd like to have something to go on besides my gut. Andy, I don't see a play with a friend link on the link above..... just a register or apply for a team button.... I was just going to let fate decide who gets the honor of my netmindedness. Haha

Hey folks, we will have a Lower Level game in this area all summer long!
For some reason, the games were not displaying. Hopefully fixed now. We continue at BV on Tuesdays through May, then jump back to AV for June and beyond. Enjoy!

I think we were all thinking of more options down here in the South Metro. Burnsville fills up every week. Another option and day of the week would be nice. I am sure it would fill up. Please consider Brandon's hook ups.

What Wayne said. And also, some of us have commitments on Tue and Thurs so I've heard. For instance, I coach little league tues and thurs, so BV is out of the question for the time slot available. (Sucks cos its a great one....) I've talked to others who have their kids sports on tues and thurs as well so adding another option on say a wednesday for example allows for more of us to have more options. And to expand JMS and what it stands for. Which is awesome by the way, it's helped develop me into the goalie I want to be and make a bunch of great friends. I think more people down here would appreciate that!

Hey guys,
We're gonna check into south metro options. We are heading into the down season (people seem to prefer cabins/softball in the summer) so I think in order for this to work, we'll have to make sure it's something immediate.
Once we have some ice schedules in the south metro, we’ll get them posted on the website as placeholder games so we can gauge interest. Then if the interest is there, we’ll book the ice.
Note, we need to get more than just 21 players interested for it to happen. To keep a game going week-to-week there needs to be a healthy amount of interested skaters above 21 to survive people’s personal schedule.
If the demand is there, we’ll make it happen!
