There is a serious goalie shortage for inline goalies in Greg Mergans Inline hockey league in St.Paul. If you have never played inline hockey it is a great time. There are usually three sessions a spring, a summer and fall session. Right now there are currently four teams at the silver level that do not have a goal tender. If you have ever wanted to increase your time in the net during the summer this is a great way to do it. Though playing as an inline goalie can be very different from playing as an ice goalie, I have found that inline hockey has helped to make me a better passer, and more patient player when I play ice hockey.
