JMS Hockey

Come one we need one more goalie and a few skaters to make this a solid skate tonight. Lets go people. I am playing goalie and have new gear to shoot at! :)

I wish I could play in this game but I just found out about this league the other day and haven't had time to buy pads yet! I must have outgrown my peewee/bantam gear sometime in the last 12 years :) Went to total hockey last night but they, along with everyone else, are pretty much out of everything in my size/price range. Looks like I'm going to have to wait until the new gear arrives at stores in a few weeks.

All you really need is skates and shin pads helmet and gloves and stick. When I skate out I wear everything but shoulder pads. Look forward to seeing you out their someday.

@ Sean Stiehm Hey Sean, I need to chime in here. You absolutely DO need full gear to play JMS--it's in the terms of use when you register with the site and you agree to it when you sign up for any game. From our help section on what to bring to your game: A full set of hockey gear. This includes: jock/jill, shin pads, hockey socks, hockey skates, breezers, shoulder pads, elbow pads, helmet and stick. Still have questions? @Barbara Garn Sorry Barb. I thought the shoulders were optional as I see a lot of skaters without them at a lot of skates.

According to the help section shoulders are optional: Wear full gear (shins, breezers, elbows, shoulders [optional but strongly recommended], gloves and helmet). You can leave off the shoulders, but everything else is required.
