JMS Hockey

I currently play on D1 west and I want to play more games then once a week. How do I go about getting on a sub list or just on another team? If anyone is looking for a sub send me a msg. I can play D2/D1. I currently play on the arctic wolves & my name is Jesse Schmidt. Thanks.

Unfortunately, you cannot join another team right now. The deadline was December 31st for any team to add another skater if they had room. Also, if you were able to join another team, you would have to join a team in D1 East or a D2 team... as well as joining a team that either did team pay and has a roster spot, or a team who has less than 16 skaters rostered because they bought a spot out. Most teams who have subs let them play when needed and charge a fee per game. The jerseys can either be purchased or rented from the teams, and uniform compliance is also mandatory after December 31st. You may want to check out other leagues out tere, including the JMS League. I'd suggest trying to find a second team to sub on for next Winter Season sometime in early to mid September when teams are finalizing their rosters to the league. Also, talk to other JMSers you may know who play in the AHA and communicate your interest in subbing. Many teams look for fill ins at the last minute!!!

Oh, and if you want to be a sub goalie in the AHA, if you currently are registered as a player, you can request to be put on the sub goalie list for free. If you are NOT an AHA player, you need to pay a fee (Around $40) to be placed on the list, as well as paying the USA Hockey Registration fee if you have not already done so. You will be noted to be eligible to sub in the level you were approved for, but can also request to be posted in other levels. For example, I am approved as a B3 or higher goalie, but am on the sub list for B2 and B3, and cannot sub in any game under B3 unless it is approved by the league.
