HIghland Park is a pretty central location with multiple sheets of ice and regular free ice time. I have played with a lot of guys from the Saint Paul area, and all agree this would be a good location to check out.

I certainly enjoyed the JMS session I did there in October. I assume it is ice availability that is the issue.

That's what I assumed too, but ice time is available pretty consistently!

We love Highland too. We purchase ice in bulk and Ramsey rinks are hard to schedule at because they require their customers to put in their ice time purchases 6 months ahead of time. In fact we just got a note the other day asking us to put in our requests for next summer (!) It's really hard to know what demand is going to be at so far in advance so we usually end up booking elsewhere at places that have more flexibility. We'll definitely make it happen if the right opportunity comes along again. Highland is a great place to play.
