Another All Level or Upper Level Game in the North Metro?

I am not sure how difficult it is to secure ice time in the north these days, but it would be great to get another all level or upper level game at the Super Rink or Maple Grove. To my knowledge, there is only the all level friday night game at Schwan's (being a level 4 & 5) that I can play in that isn't a 30 minute drive away from where I live. Just wondering if there is any possibility of another north metro game given that the All level Friday night game has been filling fast lately, so there seems to be demand. Any chance of a game at Fogerty being added at all as well?

Hey Jordan,
We did have an upper level game at the super rink on Thursdays until about a month ago. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough signups to sustain it so we ended up canceling it. I'm sure we'll give it another shot in the future, but it doesn't seem to be getting enough interest right now to work.

In the past, the North Metro game was on Tuesday nights. This game filled up every week until it was cancelled during the summer. If people are like me, often the day of the week is very important. I know when the game was switched to Wed. many people couldn't come due to other commitments. I haven't played in JMS recently for the same reason, no games in the Northwest Metro.

I'm with Matt... Hard to justify driving 45+ minutes (especially with the snow) to play hockey. Haven't played JMS in quite a while due to not having any close(ish) options... Will keep checking in to see if they show up, but in the meantime I guess I peruse the local ponds and outdoor rinks for a game!

Ya this a problem right now. I have several friends in other levels and we like to play together and the only option is an All Level...but we're not hiking it to Blaine for it. Usually later on in the winter or early spring there are more All Level sessions. Last spring there were several per week at places like Breck, SLP Rec Center, Braemar, Maple Grove, and Roseville but evidently those aren't being scheduled right now for specific reasons. At least there's going to be some good outdoor ice soon!

Youth hockey gets first dibs on the good times and locations during the winter season. We'll have the expanded offerings again during the Spring when the demand and supply (ice availability) cross again. Right now the demand is there but the supply isn't.
