C'mon people- the captains have worked very hard with admin to keep these games in the north metro! Please don't make it all for nothing. Goalies will sign up after they see skaters signed up! Great group of people,we need to keep these games alive!

Hey I would LOVE to be able to skate at the Super Rink as it is ~5-10 min from my house, however I am a level 6. My buddy and I are tired of driving to Breck and St. Thomas. It would be awesome if level 6's are allowed at this game. PLEASE let us play. I know that the 2 of us enjoy JMS because it allows us to get some exercise and play with other players who want to enjoy the game without being in league where people get too competitive. If this game needs more people to keep it going, I think it is a great option to allow Level 6 (or just me and my buddy as 2 more per week would help) to play. Admin, please allow level 6's to join this Upper Level game I know that I will play with parity!!

It filled late but it ended up strong! We believe that keeping it a mix of level 3 through 5 is the right formula at the moment, we just need to get this game going. Based on the feedback we've received in the past we think adding more top-tier talent to this game is only going to deter the lower end folks from playing. We totally understand that you want an L6 game closer to home, and believe me we're doing everything we can to get a more accessible game for you, but we don't think this is the right time and place to do it.

I understand what you are saying and I appreciate that you are looking into a L6 game a little closer to the N/NE suburbs. It is just tough to see that tomorrow (09/26) has 1 player scheduled for the Super Rink game. Is it something that could be opened for L6's the day before the skate or the day of the skate if there are not enough people to make the game happen?

This game has moved some. It is has been a great game. Unfortunately Blaine is a little too far out of the Meto to make the game feasible for me, and a lot of others (I live in the Metro), especially when it is after 9pm. I would get home too late to get enough sleep for work. I'd love to see it back in Maple Grove or New Hope. Seemed to fill quicker there.

Any mentioned that this game if for Level 3-5. I am a Level 3 and would LOVE to play as I live 1 minute from the Super Rink, however the sign up says I am not eligible. Better awareness of what "Upper Level" truly is may drive greater numbers. Also, how is it that I am a level 3 and not eligible for this skate or an intermediate skate?

Hey Chad, Are you talking about this game? https://jmshockey.com/games/5407 It definitely has level 3 spots available. The issue is that you are also assigned level 2 on your account. I can see how that would be confusing; if you click the "why can't I signup?" link on the page it does explain this - basically, if you are assigned level 2, that will make you ineligible because you'll be out of bounds of a level 3-4-5 game. The idea is players at a level 3/4/5 game should primarily be somewhere inside the skillset of a level 3/4/5 player. If someone is a level 2/3 player and on the lower end of the skill curve for that game, they won't fit in very well, so we don't make those players eligible for the game. I know this seems very nitpicky, but we do it for valid reasons - we're trying to ensure that the tempo of a game matches what we say it does on the website.

Need to get the start times earlier than 9:45p or 10pm - last winter Fogerty on Tues was well attended. I'm having to drive to Eden Prairie to play, would rather play on the north end. EP start times have been 9:15p

Nick - We try to book ice earlier in the evenings when possible, but, unfortunately, we compete against youth hockey associations for prime ice (6-8PM start times). Unfortunately, we usually end up with later times than we'd like.
