All Level Skates

I'm a level 3 skater who played pretty regularly until an injury bumped me out for almost 2 years. I've played 2 lower level games so far and am thinking about playing an All Level skate. What are they like. Do upper players play down to lower levels, or is it pretty aggressive? Comments?

You should totally give it a go! It's my opinion that it's always a fun skate. It can get to be a little fast at times, but shouldn't be real aggressive. I think faster skaters make an effort to pass to their team mates and also to let slower skaters move around with the puck some.

I’ve had pretty good luck with the all level community games. The key to the games being fun for everyone is if there are an even amount of players from every level. The only times I didn’t enjoy the games was when the majority of the players in the game were in level 4 and 5. I'm a level 2.

I'm a level 3 also, and the All Level games are a great workout for us 3s. Most of the 4s and 5s will skate with you, and its helped me with my game. I like the Intermediate Level even more, as it also challenges you to play your best, but you can stay with almost everyone on the ice.

I have had bad luck as of late and will not return to them. I find that the upper level players do not pass to lower level players and they often come and take the puck off of your stick. If I do get the puck the other teams high level players often come and drop a shoulder to knock you off of the puck. You end up sprinting up and down the ice, which is a workout, but not really involved in the play. I also find the shifts get excessively long, over 4 minutes since the high level players have plenty of time to rest on the ice before they come and destroy you. But, if that's how you want to spend your $16 its your money.
