JMS Hockey

Hey everyone, Whether or not I got a chance to play with you this past summer, I just want to say thanks for the good times. As many of you know, I'm moving to Los Angeles to attend film school. I played my last game tonight at Wakota, so I'm unfortunately done playing with JMS for the foreseeable future. I only started playing in net at the end of April, but I feel like I've been playing for years. I want to thank everyone who's given me advice on how to get better. I literally started with a blank slate, but I think that I've improved pretty quickly and have come pretty far. However, I'm not naive, and I know I've still got a lot to learn. And while I never got to post a shutout, I did have a couple games where I only let in 2 goals, and I for sure have some crazy saves in my memory that still make me wonder how I pulled them off. I had a blast being able to play with so many different people of all different levels. Whether it was my "usual" lower level games at Wakota and Burnsville, or the intermediate and all-level games at Edina, New Hope, Roseville, Minneapolis, Breck, St. Thomas, or wherever, I'm glad I got to meet so many fun people and make some new friends. If it interests anyone, I'm on Facebook. While I'm actually feeling pretty bummed about being done, hopefully I'll be able to find some places to play in LA. I hear there are a couple celebrities who sometimes play in Burbank, so if I ever get a picture I'll post it here to rub it in everyone's face :) So again, thanks for the good times. Next time I'm back in town I'll be sure to try and get a game in. I don't know who will replace me at Burnsville or if they'll be able to fill my skates, but there's one thing I do know: they won't have a helmet as cool as mine, and for that, I'm satisfied. He's hinted that he's interested in all-male scenes, but if that's not what you're interested in just let me know and I can assign you something else. Look for me at the Oscars! or the AVNs...
