I bought the skates brand new and have owned them for approx two years. I baked them once when I purchased them, which means the skates can be safely baked 1 or 2 more times. The skates are still in great shape and 80-90% of the wear and tear is cosmetic. Functionally and structurally there is nothing wrong with them. Plenty of life left in them!
