Evaluations for league play

How do I get a proper evaluation to play on a league? I have never played a JMS game or league before. I just ended a season of play in the AHA.

What level of AHA did you play? That will help determine what level league or game in JMS you can play. Below is approximate: AHA D2 is a L1/L2-Lower Level skate AHA D1 is a L2-L3-Lower level Skate AHA C3-C2 is a L3-Intermediate skate AHA C1-B3 is a L4-Intermediate/Upper Level Skate AHA B2-B1 is a L5-Upper Level skate AHA B1-A is an Upper Level/Elite Skate

If you haven't already, make a JMS account. You will be asked questions about your hockey experience and that will place you in a skill level. After that play a game at your set level. The captain will evaluate you to make sure you are at the appropriate level. After all that you can sign up for the league that fits your level.

I'd assume he has a JMS account if he was able to post in the Forum?

Thanks for the replies. I played a D1 league but was trying out for a specific team at the beginning of the season. I did really good for the season and am goin to try for C league next year. I'm going to try an intermediate game on the 7th and go from there .

Hey Shawn, you are definitely on the right track! We require all of our league players and subs to be evaluated in a JMS pick-up game. The Maple Grove spring league has filled up (you can still get on the waiting list) and there are only two spots left in the Eden Prairie league, but there will be plenty of opportunities to sub at both locations depending on what level your captain evaluates you at. We also have 4 new leagues starting in early June including upper level leagues in Eden Prairie and Wakota, a level 2/3 league in Roseville and a women's only lower level league at Wakota. Registrations will start for those leagues in the next week or so. Feel free to message me if you have any other questions. Thanks!
