www.hna.com Comparable level to AHA (A/B1/2) Season is October-March/April (Nationals in June 2015) 22 Regular season games (2 more than AHA) Three 17 Minute stop time periods (2 Refs and stat tracking on website) Playoffs (double elimination, and more than AHA) Free National Tournament (at Westwood 5 arena in Toronto) if you qualify from Playoffs and/or regular season!!(AHA does not do this) $399.00 per player or you can pay a team fee that covers 16 players and a goalie. You can roster more players to lower the costs as needed. (Ex. We rostered 18 skaters) FOR NEW TEAMS COMING IN: you get $600 off your team fee for the 2015-2016 season if you return for second year in a row.(equates to about 10% off per player if only 17 rostered) Captains credit available. If you are the home team and supply the scorekeeper you get $20 off your fee for the next season. (This can net some good savings if you are that guy with friends who like to run scoreboards.) Rinks HNA plays at: U of M Mariucci U of M Ridder Highland Arena (Charles M Schulz) Aldrich Arena Oscar Johnson Parade West Side (as needed) Games are during the week and leaving your weekends free for ice fishing and trips out of town or just for time with family. No color matching required by HNA when it comes to Breezers, gloves and helmets. Just be remotely close. Only requirement for uniforms are matching jerseys. Must have home and away set for National tournament. You can also roster 8 additional subs at no additional cost. They can also be part time players that pay less to you the team leader which can make it cheaper on your whole team. Team fee pay equates to about $364.00 per player. That is around $15 per 90 minute game (22 games plus minimum 2 playoff games).

Do they have some type of sub list or free agency that goalies can go on (eg: Super rink has a player pool and sub list)? I like the idea, I'm just not sure I want to pay the full cost and then get shoved on a team full of scrubs.

There is no sub list. Most of our teams are pretty open and helpful if a team needs a goalie. So we just call around. My team has 3 goalies on back up call if needed. This though is for WHOLE teams to come over. They are not currently fielding individuals to piece together a team BUT if there is enough interest generated in here that can field a team built from individual registrations we can probably look at putting that together.

FOR CLARITY: Looking for COMPLETE teams. Individuals should contact me and I can send you to a person helping create an open team that is available to join.

Not sure I trust HNA after the criminal financial debacle in the early 2000's that led to the AHA being formed.

What happened in early 2000's? I'm sure it has improved a lot since then.

The person running the Minneapolis HNA made off with people's registration money. So teams showed up to arenas for games but the arenas locked them out because the ice was not paid for.
